It's difficult for Australia to set fresh records.

The top summits have long been mastered.

This is the unit that has won seven Cricket World Cups, along with six more T20 titles, and earlier maintained nearly four years undefeated in 50-over cricket.

The secondary achievements, targeted by the achievement hunters, are all that remain for a side that has accomplished all there is.

That it took as late as Sunday's success by three wickets over India for them to achieve their initial ODI chase exceeding 300, reclaiming their record for the largest in women's cricket's 50-over format, is, honestly, a compliment to the pitchers that have worn canary yellow over five decades.

It's difficult for their hitters to maintain a record if never given the opportunity.

In the end, the result of Australia allowing 330 runs was skipper Alyssa Healy getting a chance to produce her latest masterpiece.

"Chasing 330 runs is new territory so I'm happy we have the assurance to accomplish that now," added Healy.

"Ideally we won't need to do it again but, should it happen, we know we can succeed."

That comment will be the ultimate thing Australia's opponents at this tournament need to hear.

During the last week a sense they will triumph from any situation has grown stronger - this triumph succeeding success over Pakistan by 107-run victory despite sitting at 76-7 at a certain moment.
